Hi fanboys, its Big Dump (and yes, thats my Christian given name…. my parents hated/hate me). My question this week isn’t a weird one, so sorry announcer guy. Do you guys like sports? Do you enjoy watching sports? I ask this cause I don’t really (although i can play a mean game of ping pong when heavily intoxicated), and all my friends do and when it comes time to hang out (usually the bar). They start talking sports and im totally f***ing lost (dont know if u can swear here, so ill be a moderator for myself). I simply dont care about who has the most potential to be the next great *insert random position in football* next season
I feel like watching sports is like watching the same GD show over and over and over again. Hell, i wouldnt know the difference from one game to another if it wasnt for the slightly different colored uniforms. Now, i dont have any problems with people who like watching sports, but people who DO like sports generally make you out to be some sort of lepper if they figure out you dont like it (and not to sound like Jerry Seinfeld, but “whats the deal with that?”). Why can’t I not like watching sports? Im wondering how you guys handle this sort of situation when you’re with ppl who talk non-stop about sports (again, if you’re not sports fans).
Are you one of those guys who chimes in with the occasional piece of sports knowledge so that you dont look like a “sports retard” or are you like me and you just stare off into oblivion and think about who’d win in a fight, a Predator (as in the movie “Predator”) or a silver back gorilla? Oh and sorry about last weeks question. Didnt know the “how many evil 8 year olds could you…” was a well known question. I had heard it recently and laughed so hard at the thought of punching tons of little kids in the face with their red glowing eyes (you know, cause their evil 8 year olds). Anywhos, sorry for the long ass question. keep up the good work fellas.

hey, just a little info for your edification. I am not excited at all for the iPad as I find it not as useful as the macbook which I already have. However, for typing I agree that the on screen typing will be a joke but they are offering a keyboard/dock combo that you dock the iPad in and can type just like a regular computer. So I guess this product is for people that dont need a real computer, I guess its more for the netbook crowd. Anyway just thought you might like to know about the keyboard/dock.
Thanks for the mention. I hadn’t thought about the new Apple toy for old folks. I think my mom would really enjoy it. It really is a shame the device doesn’t have more memory and a usb slot. If she could drag her photos on, upload to flicker, and move on, I would buy her one. Again, the 3rd generation of this device will be great.
Also, next to fresh Steelhead, Elk meat may be my favorite wild meat. The best burger I ever had was Elk mixture of some kind. Misses Montana.
I do like the way you have presented this difficulty and it does indeed present me personally a lot of fodder for consideration. On the other hand, because of what precisely I have witnessed, I simply hope as the responses stack on that individuals continue to be on issue and in no way embark upon a tirade associated with some other news of the day. All the same, thank you for this superb point and whilst I can not concur with this in totality, I regard the point of view.
