If your daughters like board games, you should get Catan. The Xbox version was fun, but nothing beats playing a local game with family. And if/when you get board of the normal game, there are a bunch of expansions that radically change the core rules.
I’ve played lots of Catan with family before. But, as our goal (mine and my wife’s) is to get through the game as quickly as possible, that is a poor choice.
