hey fanyboys, its Big dump again. Ok so instead of some creepy “would you rather…” this time im gonna ask your opinion on something. Im 28 and have been married for 4 years to my thai wife. Things are great between us, but i have one problem. I still dont know her dads name. I’ve known her for a total of 7 years and i still dont know her fathers name. Does that make me a bad person? Yes.
ok, maybe not the worst human being but i certainly wont be sitting next to Ghandi in heaven when i die. The reason i dont know his name is a combination of things. 1. I have one of the worst memories of any human i know. im seriously like a gold fish. 2. I normally block out what she says cause ill be thinking of something far more interesting. 3. Her dad passed away a few years ago so she doesnt talk about him much and when she does she refers to him as “dad”.
There was a time when i thought i had a brilliant idea to get it out of her. I was up at my parents place visiting and i took my mom aside and said “mom, please, when she (my wife) comes over to you, ask her about her family, and specifically ask her about her dad”. My mom did this but then she couldnt re-pronounce the name back to me, and the more she tried, the more the name seemed to change. Fuck.
I know that this will come up at least ONCE before we die, and i dont wanna be 68 years old and my wife turns to me and asks “whats my dads name? I’ve never heard you say it”.
Then a divorce will follow and ill be far to old to hit the clubs again (ok, i never really hit the clubs in the first place, but you get the idea). What the fuck do i do about this? I feel like such an asshole cause she knows every goddamn family member on my side, even distant cousins. Im such a Prick. please help.
Btw love the podcast, i listen to a lot of podcasts cause i have a lot of free time on my hands (i used to work at circuit city, and that probably tells you why i have so much free time at the moment) and yours is by far my favorite. Keep up the good work. oh and if you wondering why the name is “big dump”, its cause my buddies at circuit said i took the longest time in the bathroom so they figured i was taking massive shits. which was correct.
Oh and one other thing, the next time your in a big retail place like best buy and you see the employees with those headsets on, look to see if theyre actually connected to their walkie talkie, cause just about none of us did at circuit. in fact i had mine plugged into my ipod and listened to many hours of the fanboys while customers dronned on and one about their stupid fucking problems. Yea, we deserved to go out of business. If any of you are planning on playing modern warfare 2, hit me up, gamertag is axelfolly (its supposed to be Eddie Murphy’s name from Beverly Hills cop, but i put in the name on a whim, and im pretty sure its misspelled, but whateva). im not obnoxious or annoying on xbox live, well, at least not to bad. keep it real holmes. people still say “keep it real holmes” right?
Awesome podcast, internet pals. I woke up this morning at 6am because I had to sleep on my floor. Well, not my floor, but the floor of my childhood bedroom, because me and the fiance are in town for her birthday and even at age 32 I feel too weird sleeping in the same bed as the woman I’m going to marry in my parents house. Being that I’m pretty sure that Silent G is a virgin, Announcer Guy is gay and that Ssooch would fuck his wife on her parent’s dining room table during thanksgiving dinner… mik, my question is for you: does this feeling ever pass for those of us that grew up with religious parents?
Also, what in the fuck was up with the music in that place? The first 3/4s of your lunch had the most terrible background music and then out of nowhere the place plays one of my favorite songs of all time… Four Winds. Weird.
Btw, I totally got some sick burns in on you guys a few paragraphs back. OH SHIT!

Mcdonald’s sells millions of hamburgers every month. Everyone knows they make the best food. That’s my NPD talk.
