ok guys.. ive been a long time listener, but what the hell is with the itunes feed? its downloaded episode 52 like ten times since it came out. is this some kind of horrible joke, or what? im just letting you know that this has been happening, dont know if you can fix it or what but its getting pretty annoying.
as a side note, i suggested a while back that you guys make forums and said that id be the first one to register. i still havent registered and dont plan to.

Yeah, the RSS feed continues to spam the latest update, and now that its an episode instead of “meet the cast” or that beta one, it’s also re-posting ep52 to itunes. I’ve auto-downloaded it 8 times now.
I am fairly certain that this problem was occurring due to our WordPress caching plugin. I just upgraded to the latest version which should solve the issue. Please let me know if this keeps happening and I will turn off caching for the feed altogether.

ive downloaded episode 52 twice today, so i guess the problem is still going on…
After analyzing the logs today in detail I see how the problem is happening but I am still not sure why it is. The entries do not appear multiple times in the feed files, but the file size sometimes changes based on the request. It appears that certain feed readers, including iTunes, assume that the file size changing means there is a new post (which isn’t a bad assumption by any means). When this occurs, it downloads the latest episode again. So I just need to figure out why this is happening and when it started.
My sincere apologies to all listeners who are affected. Please know that I haven’t given up on this and I am still working on a fix.
OK, I have this figured out now. The file sizes for all feeds will remain absolutely constant unless a new entry appears–such as when I post our latest episode in a few minutes!
