(About the photo: one of the benefits of having a career in a creative field is the opportunity to meet and work alongside some amazing minds. The auteur of these photos is just such an individual. In addition to his “real job” as an incredible designer and Flash/video whiz kid, he’s also absurdly handy with a camera. It’s always fun and illuminating to watch him bring a concept to life. As for Mik, well, the tie is disturbing. You have to know him. That’s the least formal tie I’ve seen him wear in a coon’s age. The scam: He’s trying to come down off his high horse, renounce his Fortune 50 sold-out-to-The-Man directorship, step out of his high-powered German sedan, ratchet his vocabulary back ten grades, and look like one of us. Ain’t buyin’ it.
